In November, 2022, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Jack Smith as independent special counsel to oversee two criminal investigations into Donald Trump…2 years too late to stop him from becoming president.

In December, 2023,  The Colorado Supreme Court removed Trump for their state’s ballot, ruling that the US Constitution forbids people who engage in insurrection from running for federal office.

The Supreme Court overruled that decision in March, 2024, and then ruled in July, 2024 that an American President has immunity from the law, in direct contradiction to the intentions of our Founding Fathers, who wrote that “all men are created equal” in our cherished Declaration of Independence.

Had our Attorney General and Supreme Court delivered timely justice and upheld our Constitution, Trump would not be our current president.
