We just put up our first HOPE sign in Oshkosh

Hi Everyone,

Kirk here, writing from my apartment in Madison, where I've been sequestering myself from the festive spirit in tourist-filled Minocqua to release a bunch of new Harris/Walz beers and t-shirts to keep up with the new phenomenon that's taking over Wisconsin and America.

Talk about turning on a dime!

Just a few weeks weeks ago, I hired a political organizer to help host a bunch of events throughout Wisconsin and give everything we had as an organization to fight what I thought would be the biggest political battle of my generation.

Now, I'm getting joyous texts from progressives who were surrounded by 12,000 friends and all had a blast watching Harris/Walz rev them up at a rally in Eau Claire!

That said, I'm feeling MUCH BETTER about Wisconsin and American being saved from dictatorship and Fascism than I was a month ago, but that doesn't mean I'm going to take my foot off the gas.

As many of you know, the Minocqua Brewing Company doesn't just make political beer and t-shirts. We are fully committed to keeping Wisconsin BLUE through our Super PAC, which I affectionately refer to as "Dark Money Meant for Good."

That's why last Saturday, we erected the first of 12 new HOPE billboards that we plan to put up throughout the state.

This one was on Highway 41 in Oshkosh, and we asked folks to take pictures of it. Here is what they sent us:

Why Oshkosh?

Because on October 1st, from 6-8pm, my crew is going to host a big party at the Gibson Social Club in Oshkosh to register progressive voters and sign people up to "get out the vote."

Then the next day, we're going to the Missfits Tavern in Appleton to do the same thing.

Then the next day, we're going to Titletown Brewing Company in Green Bay to do the same thing.

Here's a list of all the cities we plan to go to, with an updated list of the venues we locked down last week. (Note, I didn't want to bug my graphic designer on a Sunday, so you're getting my unartistic edits).

In addition to hosting these events, I'd like to put a HOPE billboard up in each of these cities to help energize voters in "outstate" Wisconsin as much as other progressive groups are energizing voters in Madison and Milwaukee.

So, I asked my political advisor to compile the cost of putting a billboard up in each of these cities for a month, and this is what he came up with:

  1. Minocqua - (really Tomahawk HWY 51) $2,500
  2. Platteville - $1300
  3. La Crosse - $1851
  4. Viroqua - $1300
  5. Eau Claire - $1320
  6. Superior - $950
  7. Hudson - $1310
  8. Stevens Point - $1320
  9. Wausau - $1450
  10. Oshkosh - $3750
  11. Appleton - $3175
  12. Green Bay - $3750

The cost of all of these signs, added up, is approximately $24K.

If you live in one of these cities and want to see one of these billboards in your town, or if you agree with me that EVERY city in Wisconsin needs as much energy as possible to put Harris/Walz over the top, then please chip in here.

Over the next few weeks, I will be announcing all the musicians, speakers, and progressive groups with whom we've partnered to register voters and recruit volunteers.

Until then, thanks for reading, and thanks for sticking with the Minocqua Brewing Company.

Together, with light hearts and wide smiles, we'll help usher in a new era where HOPE overcomes HATE--one beer at a time.
